BOSTON, MA, UNITED STATES, August 18, 2026 /EINPresswire.com/ -- OurBus, the intercity transportation platform connecting more than 300 destinations nationwide, announced today that it has launched a new route from Boston South Station to New York City, with additional service to Baltimore and Washington, D.C., beginning August 20.

Boston-New York trips are operating now with promotional one-way fares starting at $19, while fares to Baltimore and Washington, D.C., start at $29 when those routes launch. All promotional fares include fees.

The expansion gives travelers another intercity bus option at South Station, where OurBus joins major companies already operating at the terminal. A November 2025 expansion increased the bus terminal’s capacity by 50%, and a new direct connection between the bus and rail terminals opened in April, making it easier for travelers to transfer between intercity buses, commuter rail, Amtrak, and subway service.

OurBus also serves select pickup and drop-off points across Greater Boston, including Back Bay, Northeastern University, and Boston College, with service continuing at those locations. The South Station addition gives travelers another option when choosing where to begin or end their trip.

The expanded bus terminal offers a weather-protected boarding area, enhanced accessibility, and Silver Line connections to Logan Airport. OurBus customers also have access to onboard amenities including free wi-fi and water, charging ports, restrooms, live GPS tracking, and 24/7 rider support.

Promotional fares are available on select travel dates in August and September and are subject to availability. Travelers can view current schedules, fares, and availability and book tickets at ourbus.com or through the OurBus app.
